Sturridge now averages a goal contribution per game for Liverpool – thirty goals and seven assists in thirty-seven appearances.

He certainly has exceeded all expectations. Most likely he'll experience a slump at some point, but he has already showed plenty enough to apply the wisdom "form is temporary, class is permanent" in such situations.

I think we are so lucky that a team like Arsenal do not have one good striker and we have two top class strikers...Suarez already WC, Sturridge is WC for me at least

Sturridge isn't there yet I don't think.

If he can keep this up for another year or two, he definitely will be. But far too much players that have shown a lot more consistency that are above him right now.

agreed, Studge is not there yet but he is growing in confidence with every match, that belief that he can score if gets the ball in the box
I think the most important thing will be, he stays fit

If he holds this form for a year or two, he'll be one of the best strikers going around, his scoring important goals and not stad padding against weak clubs, id really like to see a comparison table of were we would be minus suarez's goals and then another minus sturridges goals.

Studge is eligible for PFA Young Player of the Year this season. It's going to be between him and Hazard. Gotto be 23 when the season starts which he was so Thumbs up

Honestly you've just got to look at some of them GIF's to realise how great some of the service has been to Sturridge, some of them balls his received have been class.

no i like it like this, whenever i am bored at work I open these goals and see them, thanks for sharing them like this and it doesnt take so much time (measuring in seconds)

He's so good with through-balls. Clinical finisher. He's really filling into his potential in Liverpool and he seems to really like it here. Hope he stays at Anfield for a long time.

sorry but he needs to improve his decision makings...specially next season we will be playing in Europe and I think he needs to pass it sometimes to others who are in good position to take the ball forward or to create something from the instead carrying the ball himself all the time. Sometimes he of course does brilliantly to get involved in the game but I still think he can improve on that.

Yeah he's still not WC. Needs to polish some parts of his game but he's got all the talent in the world.

Yeah, about his decision-making, sometimes he could do better. On the other hand, I dunno. He is fantastic the way he is and I would be totally fine with it if he didn't improve at all, but kept this exact level for years to come.
