Anyways, remember when lucas was first used? It wasn't a smiley and people used it anyway, they just plugged in the code. You can still do that. The fact of the matter is that some people don't find the posts with only a smiley funny, and it is sometimes frustrating if you're having a real argument and the person only replies with lucas. I understand, while don't share, the why of such actions.
What I don't understand is why the "big" smileys had to go. Dance, afro, etc were not overused. I, for one, used them, so they weren't underused. Besides, it's not like they've been replaced with smaller versions. If the only reason for getting rid of those because they were big I simply don't see what was so wrong about them. They were only like 30 pixels tall...
