Its the Europa Lge of INT football. No one dreams of winning it, prestige is non existent while needlessly burning players out.
Is it a coincidence the the best attempt at retaining the CL came from Utd in 09 after most of the players had a summer off in 08?

International football in general is, i wouldnt care one little bit if international football was scrapped and done away with personally......

Two of our most important players are going to the bloody African cup of Nations for a month :facepalm:

Euro 2008 was very entertaining and it's very prestigious, idk what your talking about.

I'll admit...international breaks :facepalm: ... and friendlies :facepalm: , but i'd take it, cause the WC and Euro competitions are amazing.

It's a nice mix up, as opposed to league football all the time. I think right now if they scrapped international friendlies then we would have what is a very good balance.

I love international football and especially Euros and World Cup, of course. But then, I'm German and Germany usually has a team one can be proud of, especially in recent years.

I love international football, something about it feels special.

Granted my national team is in it's worst period it's still fun to watch other teams and tournaments.

Prefer NT to club football, but that's just me.

I wouldn't say International Football is a waste of time, but I do prefer club football atm. I think it's because the second-Lippi era killed it for me with the Pepe's and Iaquinta's representing the country and so many others left at home. Either way, international games come second for me.

I'll be in Poland for the Tourney following my exchange semester Razz

chuffed to bits that both Scandinavian nations finally made it (either as best seecond team) or I think they should be able to beat likes of Estonia/Armenia in play off thing. Denmark will be lively about football as a result during my exchange term and hopefully they manage to make some friendlies with world class teams at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, so I can go Very Happy

Let's smash those the Diving National team on tuesday and qualify as group winners I say Very Happy
