Gourcuff needs to be catered to and play without pressure for a while... do you really think he can do that at Arsenal? I doubt it with Ramsey and Arteta breathing down his neck.

His problems are mental, not physical.

He will not be the star at Arsenal. That's a lot of pressure off. Plus Wenger is a great coach and is playing his team the way Gourcuff wants to play.

I think that he can't rebounce at Lyon and has to go somewhere else.

I would not mind a loan spell. But due to said reasons I don't want a permenant deal for him just yet. We really need to offload a lot of players this summer. We have a lot of guys eating up the wage bill that barely play.

I have a feeling Gourcuff will sign for Arsenal on loan in January....i can see it happening.

Wenger in his office the day before deadline day, phone rings...it's Gourcuff's agent saying i have the boy and he is available on loan.

Wenger likes this and makes it happen :coffee:

Just to clarify, fee has been agreed, personal terms yet to be outlined but a January move very very likely.

To ease your fears, same source who knew beforehand of Chamberain, Kos, Squi & Arsh signings is convinced a deal has been agreed.

Yep it was all rubbish. The Gotze deal is nowhere near being done. All we know, is we are talking with Dortmund.

As the saying goes, "Class is permanent". We all recall how well Gourcouf was playing on his return to Bordeux.

If Wenger is interested, he surely sees massive potential in him and probably has a plan to make him into 1 of the best.

In Arsene I trust.

We need to buy in January Wilshere(Injured), Sagna(Injured), Santos(Injured), Gervinho(ACN). Jenkinson, Gibbs and Diaby all injury prone and during the end of December lots of games played we can't expect everyone to be fit.

January will be interesting since, we need a back up Striker, Winger and a Defender/Midfielder. AoC+Miguel should be given a chance during January.

Swansea(A)
Man United(H)
Bolton(A)
If we don't buy I see us having a lot of trouble against United, but the other three games we should win.

The agent of Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen says no offers have yet arrived for the Belgium international.

Vertonghen is being linked with Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal ahead of the January market.

But agent Mustapha Nakhla told Calciomercato.com: "There is interest, but nothing concrete.

"There's been no official offer that has come to me nor Ajax."

Rosicky has been doing well lately, but Wenger is playing mind games, if right offer comes I am sure he would sell him.

Is there any chance we can bring Eboue back to Arsenal?
