Mixture of Suarez and Chicharito, imo. Don't think this will begin growing, as you've gotten PCY. But He'd be a nice replacement for Chamakh or Ashavin if you offload them..

Hey mate, this player is an absolute joy to watch, he has definitely a Chicharito movement - exactly what we need, those runs behind the defences. I hope we're seriously about him, and that those reports are true.

Clinical finishing and team goals. This kid would be great if we get him. He'd fit right in!

From Hazard to Gotze (we even staked interest in Neymar 2 years back) every player that Arsenal monitor catches fire and subsequently, the attention of the world of football. I hope Reus doesn't follow suit.

seriously. we shouldnt send any of our scouts to games. we can just have them watch internet streams of our targets and never tell the media who we're interested in. this getting too annoying

Arsenal are considering signing 32-year old versatile defender Eric Abidal on a free transfer next summer.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I'd take Abidal on a free. As much as it might block Gibbs a bit, he's yet to prove he can play a consistent run of games without getting injured.

Abidal would be great especially for free, probably even ahead of Per as cb. He's Barca hero though, hard to see Barca let him go at 32.

Not a chaaaance. Barca wouldn't let him go and he wants to retire there. Maybe next year too.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Arsenal are competing with Bayern Munich for Bundesliga stars Mario Gotze and Marco Reus.
The Daily Mail says Bayern have earmarked the pair as potential transfer targets but both are also wanted by Arsene Wenger.
Gotze scored Borussia Dortmund's winner against Munich on Saturday.
Reus, 22, who scored a hat-trick in Borussia Moenchengladbach's 5-0 demolition of Werder Bremen, has also captured Bayern's attention.
"Gotze is a magnificent player despite being only 19 years old. Of course we observe such players," Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Sunday newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
"Reus has a clause in his contract that isn't exactly cheap (but) he could give us even more quality in the long run."

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Premier League clubs are circling Palermo for midfielder Josip Ilicic.
The Daily Mail says Palermo have put a £30million price tag on Ilicic as Premier League clubs step up their interest.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has only been in Italy for 14 months after joining for £2.3m from Maribor but Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have all been represented at recent games, including Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Juventus.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
EXCLUSIVE: £30m for Arsenal to land star Goetze as Gunners step up chase
Arsenal need to spend a record £30million to sign Germany’s new golden boy Mario Goetze.
Sportsmail revealed on Saturday how the Gunners want to use Tuesday’s Champions League visit of Borussia Dortmund to cement their interest in the 19-year-old.
Arsenal sent two scouts to watch Goetze score the winner in the weekend 1-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.
And chief executive Ivan Gazidis, together with key negotiator Richard Law, will discuss the club’s interest in Goetze with Dortmund officials this week.
But Arsenal will be told it will take at least £30m to prise the youngster away from Germany in January — double Arsenal’s current record outlay for Andrey Arshavin when he moved from Zenit St Petersburg in 2009.
Dortmund are determined to keep Goetze until at least the end of next season but realise his long-term future lies away from the club with Europe’s elite queueing up to sign the youngster.
The German club would have to consider an offer of £30m when the transfer window reopens.
Fully aware of the Gunners’ interest, Dortmund will keep the player on a tight leash when he arrives in London.
Goetze is Arsene Wenger’s top transfer target as he looks to fill the creative void left by the summer departures of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
Wenger has £50m to spend on boosting his squad and is willing to use a hefty portion to lure Goetze.

I don't know which rumours are more annoying: the Hazard rumours in the summer, or the current Götze rumours. It just never ends.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I've got no problem if Gourcuff arrives on LOAN.
Adds great depth to the team, and although I'm not a fan of his erratic long shots, he does add a different dimension to the team as well.
But it better not be a perma deal, he's overrated, and is going to cost between £14-18million (which he's not worth).

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
I dont mind Gourcuff. I really think wenger can sort him out, he doesnt have any attitude problem but need a manager like wenger to help him with his career
I dont think wenger is confident with our creativity from the middle. Also the number in midfield as Diaby can always get injured while u never know how Wilshere will react from his injury.
So i vote for yes, get Gourcuff and on loan, it cant be bad at all

lol Emirates >>>>>> White Hart Lane
He'll definitely stiff them like Gervinho did.
I don't mind Gourcuff either, our midfield can hold its own but we're not productive enough, Arteta is playing deep, which is helping our defense wonders, but he could come in for Ramsey a bit and alternate. On loan? hell yes.

Re: Latest Arsenal Rumours
Arsenal, Tottenham and Inter are weighing up moves for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin, Goal.com can reveal. The Argentine has been in impressive so far this season and is being watched closely by top clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
Faurlin, 25, is rated at around £10 million by QPR and has also attracted interest from Napoli.
Arsenal have scouted Faurlin a number of times in the last year and Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is an admirer of his passing ability and intelligence.
Tottenham have shortlisted Faurlin as a potential target to replace Luka Modric if the Croatian playmaker at the end of the season.
Faurlin has been tracked by Inter ever since he turned down a move to the San Siro as he felt he would get more playing opportunities at QPR, who he joined from Instituto de Cordoba in July 2009 in a club record £3.5m deal.
Faurlin found himself at the centre of a controversy last season when complications over his transfer and registration almost cost QPR their promotion to the Premier League.
The west London club were accused of breaking third-party ownership regulations when they signed Faurlin and only escaped the threat of a points deduction on the final day of the season.
