I remember doing some typing exercises at school, a while ago. There was this one game where you just kept typing whatever word appeared. I was just going on and on and on and on... While the noobs stopped early, I got a bit careless and didn't really care about reaching any further point because I had already broken the "record." cheers

68 wpm, 3 mistakes.. One was BS considering the hyphen was unclear, so I would say 70 and 2 lol.. Not bad considering I type with like 7 fingers (3 on each hand and thumb for space bar)

I type with two fingers, which must make the lot of you wonder how much time I spend on my posts.

Actually, I used to do that before but changed to a system where I use my left hand to type most of the words since the most used letters are in the left. The right hand is then responsible for the punctuation and the shift duty.

Not perfect but it works well, at least I manage to print as fast as I think.

Which is better than typing faster than you think Laughing which explains why I have 87 wpm and most of my posts are short and not very interesting and I sometimes find myself going back and adding a bit on Razz

True Razz

I don't think I can type without thinking though. It is the same way I talk as well, I talk fancy not because I want to show off, but because it is a way to prolong the window in which I can think for new things to say.

Got 83 WPM, then tried again and got 69. It really makes a lot of difference which text you get to work with. And some of the so-called mistakes are ridiculous - why do some of the texts have a space on each side of the comma?

@ anybody who had 50-60 plus words per minute. You should be ashamed that you feel the need to abbreviate "words per minute".
