özil gets injured (he plays on the wing) = di maria
kaka gets injured = özil and benz can play AM

so we are ok depth wise. kaka deserves to start the way hes playing, he is carrying our team alone on this bad form

He's been pretty convincing so far, but carrying the team alone? Lol. When?
When starting with Di Maria, Coentrao, and Benzema againts Levante, all three of them created more than Kaka in the first half when we're still 11 vs 11, while Kaka missed the chances they created. Then he did nothing in second half until got substituted.
Againts Rayo & Ajax, he was key player, but I can argue Ronaldo & Ozil played more important roles than him.
Againts Espanyol, Higuain and Ronaldo were more important.

Yes please sell Ronaldo. Its seems funny to me that you guys think he can be replaced, just like that. I promise you if you sell Ronaldo today, you will finish at least 15/20 points behind Barca ( considering barca maintain their usual form).

You guys just take such a great player for granted. Ronaldo at the wing ( currently) is still better than any other Real madrid player on the wing.

Who will do a better job? If you honestly think Benz can take over Ronaldo's position comfortably, then you have no idea how wrong you are.

Ronaldo has been a vital part of virtually every threatening attack we unleashed, and is a joint top assister at the moment. I consider him to be our best player by far.

The only dent he has are the moments of old selfishness when he takes a shot from a poor position, but he is nowhere near being selfish (again, top assister top playmaker in team at the moment - Ozil is the only one who may be better in this aspect, but CR trumps both Ozil and Kaka in terms of individual ability).

I like our current line up with Di Maria on the bench and Kaka starting. I prefer Benz over Higgy tbh, but Benz really needs to adapt to that 9 role. Higgy is a lethal finisher that will finish off what Kaka and Ozil create. We would have much more control with Benz, Kaka and Ozil.

It's not that Kaka is carrying team. It's he is playing well and the Kaka / Ozil combination is making up for the lack of a true MF partner for Alonso. As long as Sahin is out, this is our best combination (if Kaka can stay healthly, fit and in form). For a rotation I would put Benz on wing with Higgy at CF and Ozil at CAM.

Oh, I agree, CR7 is a selfish arrogant player, but he also is the best player on team and gets 50% of our goals. He could however be substituted occasionally which may help tone him down a bit. Problem is the the coach has the same character traits so he thinks it's OK.

I don't think Benzema dropping deep is a problem. Messi drops deep and becomes a playmaker too.

However Barca have Pedro in the attack too so we need to bench Di Maria for a goalscorer.

I think Benzema and Higuain can play together.

His wingplay has drastically declined while his positioning and goal scoring instincts have heightened.Natural move would be to CF.

As it is he is occuying a creative space on the pitch that would suit Kaka/Benz/Ozil. TBH even Di Maria is better than him as a natural winger atm.

As my personal bias kicks in though I realise even with that move I would not be happy since Higuain would be buried on the bench..............so life goes.

Your entire Argument falls apart when you look at the number of chances Ronaldo has created for himself and for others (shots on target/assist to shot and or goal).

Stop making the most complete player in the game sound like some no name scrub who is lucky to play for us.

Ronaldo is this club's most prized possession and I'm not talking about shirt sales here. Two more seasons with +35 goals and a couple of important trophies and he'll be up there with Raul and Don Alfredo. I'm not even exaggerating.
