If you from New York.. your gonna sympathize with the Yankees, because they are New York, B. Much more than the Knicks, Jets and Giants.

Yeap, I also expected such list to be domonated by Baseball, Basketball, Rugby (US) & Racing franchises.

Sorry, didn't find the 2011 numbers (yet), but the 2010 numbers are pointing in the same direction as the 2011 ones - football/soccer is pretty valuable as brand. ^^

What's the first thing all about, it only consist of mostly America sport team, sort of remind me how world University Ranking only consist of America Universities. (Ranking done by Americans obviously)

The first list is the general value with all assets, not just the brand value. Brand value is good for marketing, general value is just that - how much are the clubs worth with everything attached. That is, it is the money you'd have to take in hand to buy the club.

I will assume that also include players, stadium, loans etc
