Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
By missing all these simple chances, Robinho is losing the confidence of his teammates as well as his self-confidence. He brings a lot to the team that nobody else can offer, but with our current form, we are not as reliant on him, so he will most likely lose his starting place to Pato as long as Pato can stay fit.
On the other hand, Nocerino, Aquilani and Boateng have been brilliant lately.
Looks like the old midfield guard has finally been replaced. All we need is a new DM to replace the out of form Van Bommel and Ambro.

I know that he himself is most disapointed, but after injury he's not the same player as last season. I don't want to see that we losing points because of his misses. If Santos really wants him maybe is right time to sell him. We also miss Cassano and old Pato. Maybe it is good idea to get Tevez on loan. What if Ibra get out of shape or get injured? We are now in good shape and i want that we stay that way.

tevez is cup tied. I think what we need is someone who can feature in both the league and CL so we don't suffer the same fate as in last season's CL

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
oh how can we be so wasteful against plzen???? ok even though we had nothing to loose. we know with bonera and taiwo defense is vulnerable... but
cmon pato should have buried atleast 3 goals... he had like loads of 1 on 1 chances...
it made me a little upset because really just reminded me of 3 years ago when pato can easily take out 3-4 napoli defenders and score goals. now he couldnt even take out 1...
compliments to him for scoring a goal and setting up one but... really it was wasted opportunity. thats why champions league shouldnt be taken lightly...

Ambrosini and Emanuelson are worthless, and Seedorf is a tired player. He is a champion but he does not have the legs. He was walking at 30 minutes.

Emmanuelson really is dead rubber now. He has no real place in our formation and when he does appear, he rarely impresses.
If we do move for Eriksen, he should be traded back to Ajax.

This match had some similarities to match day 6 of last season in the CL against Ajax. We had secured second place, we could not do any better or any worse than our standing int he group. Since we had no real drive or a goal, the players didn't put in the appropriate performance. That was probably also the reason why players like De Sciglio and Cristante (who I only just heard of this morning) made an appearance.
I really don't think anyone in Milan will be losing sleep over this result.
But at least the Plzen crowd got to see an exciting finish for their home team.

Very well summed up. Also I swear they only just added Cristante to the site, I'm amazed that he's just popped up like this at the age of 16, especially given the numbers we have in our Primavera midfield, someone older would definitely have been fresh for the match.

Can anyone sum up the game for me? How were our youngsters?
I was shocked that we let go of the game, but I expected us to draw from the start so I'm not too bummed.

Actually, we have been deceiving ourselves. Even the Ajax coach said he didnt think Urby would break into the starting 11. So this was basically a silly long shot nobody actually believed in. Its not like Emanuelson was 18 or 20 when we got him either, so we should have seen what was coming. I understand that we dont want to have too expensive players on the bench though.
In Urbys defense, he has been ok when coming on in Serie A.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
To be fair to Urby, he'd be an acceptable squad member if our first choice midfield was stronger and we simply needed a player who is to his credit willing to work for his chances and fill in where ever necessary, however when we're desperately crying out for quality players of his ilk seem pointless when instead of playing his preferred position he's awkwardly seeing out the last twenty minutes of games and often either in situations where the team isn't pushing for anything or we're simply fielding a generally weak team.
It's not really an excuse to keep him, and he wouldn't make too many top squads, however it's not really his fault, he was simply the wrong purchase. El Shaarawy and other youngsters need to be in Allegri's mind when we're feeding minutes around the squad for players to grow and get a bit of confidence. He'll have his uses throughout the year, however the Pharoah needs to be sent on for Boateng instead of Urby in matches such as last weekend when the game is well over at half time.

We played well in the first half, and in the second half we were just downright terrible. Bologna dominated us in the second half; the match really highlighted our intrinsic deficiencies. We really lack creative players and its not even funny anymore.
