How dynamic would this midfield be!
You think it could work?
Aquilani - Nocerino - Boateng
------------Robinho-------------
or this may be better

taiwo wasn't very effective tonight but he's still much much much much better than headless chicken antonini and an aging zambrotta, he gives alot of dynamism to the team, always up there willing to make runs and take shots, i love that....

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
milan had it easy tonight, but i have to say there were some serious defensive lapses that could have given BATE plenty to score, thanks to their dreadful finishes they didnt.
perhaps tonight i can give our players some exception, but if milan wants to take CL seriously, that kind of concentration / defensive mistakes shouldnt happen.... even if its BATE or Barcelona....
on positive note,
i have to say im impressed with nocerino at the left, and aquilani at right or well he shifts here and there in the middle, but certainly improved aquilani in the last two games, he had chances to score, hit the post, good passes, gave helping hand in defense. kind of aquilani everyone wants to see.
abate was good as always, except one serious mistake in second half, but overall very determined performance.
good stuff from taiwo as well, explosive and physical presence, perhaps wasteful in finishing but doesnt matter. he did well in his position.
abbiati with a good save from MVB backpass lapses
mexes debut, really happy for it.
on negative note,
as everyone says, boateng perhaps doesnt look sharp in AM. score magnificient goal but he wasnt effective in AM position
cassano, i think needs to work harder in not loosing ball so cheaply, and his pases were just easily intercepted by opponents. dont like him seeing making a fuss when he looses ball. he needs to come back and help win the balls. same goes to ibra...

I'm actually angry boateng scored cause now he'll be a guarenteed starter as AM for the next 10 games...

La gazzetta and they are not harsh, I've never seen more than 8 from them.

i agree with you, aside from the goal he was actually average and nowhere to be seen most of the game, allegri is unbelievably poor tactically.......

I suggested this before the game too. It would be awesome.
Also, I'm glad people have joined me in the Aquilani club!

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
Nice to see Yepes might start, though that's a fairly dull midfield, and surely Taiwo is fit enough to start once more. Aquilani's creativity would be nice to add to the line-up, however apart from that my greatest wish is to see El Shaarawy given significant time if we're ahead.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
MILAN - Sebastian Peruzzo is the designated referee for Milan's away game at Lecce tomorrow at 12.30 at the Via Del Mare stadium. He'll be assisted by Francesco Bianchi and Roberto Iannello. Paolo Tagliavento will be the fourth man.
Sunday will be Peruzzo's 30th time in charge of a game in the Italian top flight. His record with Lecce is 7 wins, 2 draws and 2 loses. his record with Milan is 1 win.

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
would have been better if we didnt play with 3 defensive midfielders, aquilani injury/muscle fatigue is understandable.... milan should have brought mattia valoti .....
our game will be less creative possibly...

Re: Forum Milan Channel: LIVE!
I'd have like to see Valoti in the squad, however it's also important for Emanuelson to be given responsibility in midfield. With Aquilani and Boateng in the squad but on the bench due to concerns over their fitness, it's significant that Emanuelson joins them, even though Max's first concern is our defence, whilst our attacking trio is very aggressive.
If Emanuelson could show that he can be a creative link in our midfield trio during times of great purpose on the pitch, then his position, even as a bench player, is likely to be assured in immediate transfer windows. An ineffective performance against the likes of Lecce though would be disastrous, but also help in making a crucial judgement for the future. He's shown promise in stages, however eventually he'll need to arrive at a point where he's part of a team whose aim is to not only be the champions of Italy, but eventually Europe.

On a sadder note: Today at Lecce the team will play with black armbands in memory of Marco Simoncelli and the mother of Roberto Boerci, the team masseuse.

well emanuelson should have made in starting lineup... thats for sure... i dont understand allegri logic of playing 3 defensive midfielders, two of them over 30s will be run ragged
this is kind of approach why some posters are pissed with allegri...
looking at game .... leece almost scored another!!! jeez...
