Yes he looks much more comfortable on the left. Finally he had a decent game and I hope he grows from here. Both he and Aquilani looked good on the left and right respectively.

It was a good decision by Allegri to put Nocerino on Anto's side. Abate - Aquilani was a very balanced combination as well as Nocerino - Antonini on the other side.

Great game, definitely the best game this season. Everything worked well and all players did their job. Everything was on a completely different level from the last game. (movement, passing, pressing)
Kudos to the team and Allegri. Hope that would be a turning point for Milan.

I really want to see Mexes and Taiwo start against BATE

Maybe use an Abate-Yepes-Nesta-Taiwo backline

This is somewhat contradictory isn't it?
I'd still like to see Silva play if he's recovered. Nesta should get a rest.

A brief comment on Serie A: Isn't it amazing that after one of our worst starts we are only 4 points behind 1st, despite still being in the bottom half of the table.

I meant Mexes not Nesta

Abate-Yepes-Mexes-Taiwo

We've still got some speed in defence and the slow CB's shouldnt be a problem if we can keep possession

Taiwo is simply better than every left back we have. He should be our starting left back.

Milan looking decent.

Cassano is drifting to good effect, like he did in his Samp days.

Midfield is very intruiging, very flexible and almost interchangeable.

good first half, BATE doesnt look like a threat at all, except on van bommel mistake they nearly scored.

it looks like a piece of cake for us. hope milan score more so players can relax, and mexes gets his debut.

on boateng, he hasnt been sharp again this game, i hope couple of games will gain his match fitness to 100%

great stuff from aquilani im impressed he is playing well against palermo and now against BATE, he needs to build this confidence, consistency.

abate, tremendous as usual, also giving a helping hand for nesta in defense.
