why dont we start higgy on the right? given that he started as a winger anyway.. add more options to the attack and he has superb work rate, will track back too.

Because on the wings you need someone who can create separation, either with speed or with very good dribbling.

Higuain at the moment falls short in both areas in my opinion, he developed his skills to be a natural 9, and he was very underwhelming as a winger when he played there before.

You want Benzema to play wide, with his close control, it's very difficult to close him down, and his short passing his quality in the final meters.

Jose tried the diamond formation in the last game, it failed because:

1. Kaka sucked big time. He played like a balerina afraid of any kind of tackles Very Happy

2. Ozil isn't a full time right winger, he tends to run into the middle Very Happy

3. Teams which press high from their defence make two AMs pretty much useless. In that case, width is more than welcome to unlock them= Di Maria Very Happy

You saw the effect in the game Very Happy

What's up Babun... seems like you and a few others (like Ganso) have jumped on the Benz bandwagon.

Bottom line is that both Higuain and Benz are too good to be on the bench.

inb4 someone says hes argentinain,I used to support Higuain until last season when Benz went into beast mode.Never got see him at Lyon
