No loyalty to the old guard.
I guess only Milan and Man United bother with oldies. I guess it is a testament of SAF superiority that he still maintains the level of his stars well past their prime.

Re: Lampard Quits
No we wont be selling Lampard.. thats crazy! He is still a Chelsea player and he should retire as a Chelsea player. As long as he is willing to play for the club we should try and keep him. If he wants to leave its some other case.
Re: Lampard Quits
Lampard must only retire in chelsea, with a big ceremony. A legend in my book. Personally Im sure Lamps still has 2 years left in him, so his not going to be replaced any time soon. I hope.

Are you kidding me?
Here we are giving playing time to Malouda, Anelka, LAMPARD, Terry, Drogba, Cole, etc and you say we don't give them loyalty? The fact that we didn't sell them after last season when it was evident we were relying on them a bit too much, and that we're trying to give them contract extensions, says wonders. Also with the fact that we chose not to give playing time to Lukaku, McEachran, Aanholt/Bertrand ahead of the likes of Cole, Drogba and Lampard.
And the reason why Lampard was dropped was because he had played like 70 mins against Fulham. Plus we were down to 10 men and everyone had to put in a little bit extra, plus we have a CL game on Wednesday then a difficult trip to Bolton...it was right to give him a rest. And Lampard knows that but it's just that the media wants to create controversy like they tried to do with Drogba after Torres (only to fail afterwards of course).
Lampard is our starting 11 player, if you have been watching our games you would know that, and all of the other players mentioned above are all given loads of playing time (with the exception probably being Drogba because he can only play in one spot).

Re: Lampard Quits
Drogba is also given playing time, its just that his injury made him miss the games. Otherwise he would have got quite an amount of playing time as well..
