Yes we do lol. With De Rossi dropping so far back (not really to clean up the mess, but to provide a solid back line along with the two centerbacks), our other midfielders have to be capable of running back and breaking up potential counter-attacks. That's something we actually did very well against Inter, constantly pressuring them into launching the ball away. But they were rather weakened, so Pizarro was able to do some of that work, while Taddei and Perrotta naturally pressed opponents very high up the pitch.

decided to DL/watch the match after work. so to avoid spoilers, no goal.com, espn, forums, google news, etc for me once kick off starts. will check the starting lineups though then sign off. will come back on after i watch the game

i usually don't do this. only when it's a weekday match vs milans, juve, derby, or siena or an important continental/cup match

kick is at 2:45pm where i work. i get off at 6, get home at 8, watch the game then. i guess i'll try to ACTUALLY do work today at the office to avoid spoilers

OT, where do most of you live?

i was never impressed with lobont ability as a keeper hope he plays well today but still i hope curci gets a chance..

he used to be class when he was at ajax. had the reflexes of a cat on roids but poor everything else required of a keeper. i still used to go buy him every time in video games

lobont's past it now, even more so ever since he joined us. he's still a reliable backup though with good experience in various teams/countries/competitions. he did well for us last season when we let him play

from what i've seen of lobont vs inter, either he needs better gloves, or he needs to practice holding onto a ball

Same problem for me. Going to watch the first half live, but I have to to go work after that. I'll watch the second half of the match when I get back home tonight.

So just a quick post before the match starts. If Siena plays the same way tonight as they did against Juventus, Pjanic and Totti will be our key players. They're going to have to do a lot of moving around when off the ball and try to create problems for Siena's 4 man midfield. Siena are really organized under Sannino, a coach who I think has a pretty good future ahead of him, and their midfield always moves around together (almost as if it were FIFA 11, always going in the same direction, step by step). It'll be up to Pjanic to move around and try to break that midfield line apart, thus creating more space for us when getting forward.

Borriello and Osvaldo are also starting, so I think we're going to be much narrower up front than if Borini or Bojan were there. Angel will therefore have to get forward as much as possible. Perrotta will be starting as a right back again, all I could say is Forza Simo and Forza Roma!

marco+ozzy could work, considering rossetini isn't a natural defender and terzi is short and frail

ozzy is pablo ozvaldo who just scored his first goal for roma and borriello provided the assist.. i think that justifies why bojan is on the bench!!

Osvaldo is great, Borriello just not much on the wing, and he was trying to score, not assist Osvaldo.

well the second last touch from a roma player was borriello's he should get the assist..

We still look very susceptible with that high-line at the back....Burdisso and Kjaer should not be seeing so much of the ball....far too much space in between the lines for Siena to exploit, which they've done well.

Kjaer also saved the game for us with another goal line clearance....deep ball from the right flank really caused problems.
