Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder has stated that he wants to remain at San Siro. The Dutchman has been strongly linked with Premier League champions Manchester United, and Chelsea.

But the 27-year-old made it clear that he wants to remain in Milan.

"There is a family atmosphere at Inter and there are all the ingredients to aim high," he said, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Milan is marvellous, picturesque and full of elegance. I love it. At the moment I am very happy here and I don't see why I should leave."

Recently former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly said the Stamford Bridge outfit would do well to sign Sneijder.

Good, not that I thought there was anything about the BS reports.

On the general discussion I always ask the Premfaces "why would Moratti sell Sneijder?" Moratti could buy Chelsea and ManU if he wanted to, he's that wealthy. Why would he try to make money on a key player? He has never done that in the past and he won't do it now.

hey wiggles... im not an expert on the FFP rules and maybe you can correct me (I actually hope you do)... but dont we need to balance the sheets this year? Wont we the FFP take into consideration this year and next years balance to determine whether or not the team meets the required parameters..

If that were the case , then no matter how wealthy moratti is, his hands are tied

He has not done it before, but he has to now. We have seen him change so much during all these years. Remember when he bought great players with huge prices.. spending money like crazy..and there were never rumours - they were all breaking news! Look at him now man.. he has learned how to be careful..

Lets not even mention the FFP...

Actually, he can throw as much money into the club he wants this year. Next year supposedly, clubs will have to spend no more than they make. I think there will be so many exceptions that the "padrone" system in Italy will survive. Big Italian owners don't want to make a profit, it is their hobby, they have teams like they collect expensive cars. They know they will lose money.
