How highly do you rate Cardozo?

How highly do you rate Oscar Cardozo?

I actually really like him. Surprised a club bigger than Benfica hasn't picked him up yet.

He can be terribly inconsistent though......

And when he does go missing, he literally is unnoticeable.

He blows hot and cold some days he's on fire the next he can be terrible..

Lethal from free kicks though..

BTW he's left footed O.o havnt seen him score many with his right.

Defo Above Average.

Can head acn shootclase and far and is a dead ball specialist.

i love cardozo and i rate him very highly, he's the perfect targetman but has very technical qualities too, which makes him a very unique player

he's got aerial ability and strength. he can take free kicks, PK's, long shots, and he's got a hammer of a left foot. he's first touch is amazing and his dribbling is decent too i guess. but he's slow, really slow and unagile

but i'm biased because he's one of my go-to players in Football Manager. tbh i've rarely seen him play in real life, maybe 5 matches at most, but his goal scoring record speaks for itself

roughly 2 goals every 3 games for newell and roughly 3 goals in every 4 games with benfica. if this isn't consistency, i'm not sure what is. i would love to have him at roma. i think cardozo has the qualities to do well in any team

i think the only reason cardozo's not in a "better" team is because of his national team record. but that might be because the coach is using him wrong. he made cardozo play left wing during the world cup, which is not his natural position, especially considering he's slow and can't cross

I rate him highly and I think if Bayern sign him and Hummel/Howedes the team will be complete in depth and quality...

Porto & Benfica are already good teams, really.

I don't consider Roma or Valencia, for example, as bigger.

they're very good teams (porto/benfica), but they'll always be hampered by the fact they play in a weaker league

same deal as Celtic/Rangers

Roma and Valencia are definitely bigger because brand-wise they're more recognizable by people around the world. if a player wants to be more well known worldwide and had a choice between Roma, Valencia, Porto, or Benfica, he'd probably pick one of the first two teams to join
