Juve to go for Kolarov in Januari?

Juventus are set to test Manchester City's resolve with a January bid for Aleksandar Kolarov, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Serbia full-back has struggled to maintain a regular spot in the Premier League club's starting line-up due to injury problems, since his arrival from Lazio in the summer of 2010.

Manchester City completed the purchase of left-back Gael Clichy in the summer for €8 million and the former Arsenal man has featured in all but one of Roberto Mancini's side's fixtures this season.

Juve were previously linked with Kolarov before City completed a deal believed to be around €17m for the 25-year-old.

Kolarov made 24 Premier League appearances for the Citizens last season, scoring one goal in the process.

Not happening... I just don't see the logic of how we can be linked with players and yet have no injuries in the fullback position... sure PDC and Grosso are there, but we being linked with Kolorov is slim.

Sure that Kolarov can be our good deal in January bacause he was hell of a LB in Italy

Exactly, Kolarov is a good LB, but cmon, how can we be linked with him now? Its realistic, but highly doubtful.

Lets not forget what a player PDC can turn out to be! Kolarov is (as of now) a better player then PDC, but if PDC have a good fall-season I don't see how Conte and Marotta would replace him.. Kolarov will be expensive and I'd figure Marotta to splash for Rhodolfo instead....

But sure - i'd welcome Kolarov anytime.. PDC is quite unstable and injury prone

how many years have we been waiting to see how PDC turns out? juventus is not his and quite frankly we need a better player in that position NOW to try reach where we want to go. this is no time for a learning curve. PDC is barely an average player.

I kept asking for Coentrao, we've been linked with him, but sadly to expensive and went to Madrid.

Contento is slowly becoming a starter for Beyern, isn't he?? I saw the potential in PDC a few times last season.. Great pace, crossing and communication with chiellini .. But yes.. It's a shame we let Criscito go

kolarov to teach pdc? they are the same age. its either one or the other for the starting role. kolarov is a very good player and would be welcome at juve however i dont see it happening. btw these rumours are very premature and 99% of off transfer season rumours wont happen so for that can we have a transfers thread? until jan
