Because if it was not for those minutes and Dudek you would not have won that CL. Seriously, the end products is what gives value to the equation. If Benitez hadnt changed the system and introduced smicer and plugged the hole in midfield we would never have won.

He's good, but not one of the best. Incidentally same as Van Gaal and arguably Ancelloti (IF you want to rebuild a new side, but great if you want success from a already established side, although sometimes his tactics are questionable. However as an overall manager it's important you are good in both.) now that you mentioned.
