malmo literally out friggin played them for the whole last half of the tie, they were soooooo close to score the winner it was unbelievable
but they do have one very fast midfielder, playing in the centre (i think) so we have to be wary of him
they also have very fast counter attacks apart from that they are crap especially from corners, freekicks etc no strength whatsoever.... i honestly predict a 5-0 scoreline

I have GREAT news for Kaka fans
He's injured, official real madrid website says:
He'll miss this tie. The Kaka is back argument can be put to rest for a month now I guess.

It's only a bruised knee from Miguel Torres' tackle, expect him to be back by the weekend and could possibly start against Levante.

Wonder how pitch quality is going to be... France NT just played a couple of games in Albania and Romania... and it was absolutely horrific. I hope Croatian groundskeeper is better.

With Sanitas no matter how insignificant the injury is it will somehow self manifest into a worser injury. Expect him to miss a month
Back on topic for the next game Mou I'm wondering if mou will start Coentrao + Khedira and drop Di Maria or not. I think he should go for the 4-3-3. If it isn't working bring in Di Maria at half-time. Should be an interesting game

That was terrible lol. Sorry man. I confused Zagreb and Belgrade. I'll fix that in the post. Brain fart on my part.

Re: Dinamo Zagreb vs. Real Madrid
And pitch quality will be great, new turf has been laid during summer and only few games have been played since(3 or 4)....
Stadium has been reconstruced, at least to not look like a hole like it used to, as if they knew spanish royality will be coming in September

Re: Dinamo Zagreb vs. Real Madrid
I rather see Di Maria the 3rd midfielder in stead of Coentrao. Mou will put the same Auxerre's line up for tomorrow. The two teams are quite similar with more physical intensity in the croatian side.
More important thing is to be tactically solid and to not under estimate the opponent, we are in a CL competition nevertheless.

Just under 40,000. It's not too bad really...

Wow, the design is really quite strange for such a large (capacity) stadium. Odd. Im sure its not bad, but the design to my eyes makes it look very small-club-ish.

It was reconstructed many times, its 99 years old thus the shitty/odd look.

Re: Dinamo Zagreb vs. Real Madrid
Actually it's nice because everyone in the stadium has a clear view of the field.

Re: Dinamo Zagreb vs. Real Madrid
The Dinamo stadium is a work in progress. Dinamo prez said that come winter they will fix up the North end.
Would it look better if they lowered the pitch and extended the stands to the edge of the pitch like this:
