Real Sociedad 2002

Remember that miraculous season when they nearly won La Liga?Mikel Aranburu reminded me of that when he came on tonight,I couldn't believe he was still at Sociedad.Anyway,I'm asking this because I couldn't remember who managed them that season,apparently it was this guy Raynald Denoueix,which doesn't ring a bell TBH.

What happened to him?He obviously coached Sociedad another season but I can't find any info.How does someone with that kind of achievement gets forgotten?You would expect a bright future,a top club...At least living of old fame in the worst case but this guy just disappeared.Any old timer to shed some light on this?I was too young at the time ,I wouldn't even have watched it if Kovacevic didn't play for them...

He coached Nantes for a few years, and then he coached Sociedad from 2002-2004, and after that he never managed another team again. And apparently, he's the one who discovered Deschamps and Desailly... Interesting.

At least, that's what I'm reading.
