Both did a good job. Although I felt Benz slightly faded away in the second half.

But all in all a good showing.

One is on 2 goals the other on 1. Not bad.

tbh this showed why fanzemas cant count out higgy... not even in form and he did pretty good

benz had an off day interm of movement off the ball. But his supereme first touch / ball control and effeciency got him two goals. They way he controls the ball infront of the back 4 is so crucial which always leads to goals against deep defences.

Higuain is coming into his movement form, and getting some speed back.

The probelm with benz is that he is serously getting overloocked, so many times his teamates just dont pass to him when he is open. Its always CR7 they pass to. which frostrates me sometimes.

Di Maria's just a weird kind of player.

If he scores or assists, fans will all orgasm and be like, "OMFG what a long-range screamer!!!", or "LOOK at him dribble those 4 players like a boss!".

Problem is, if he doesn't score/assist, the generally feeling is kind of like, "wtf is he trying to do ... constantly hogging the ball and losing it trying to dribble, or sending his shot into orbit..."

When Di Maria has his moments he just does unbelievable things

He's been meh ever since he returned in preseason after his marriage. He should have gotten a proper honeymoon I guess

Anyway the only way I see Di Maria playing properly again is when he gets benched, this should motivate him to find his long lost brain

feck di maria, hope hazard or neymar come in and fill his spot, that way he mature into becoming better.

hes gonna be a bench player, maybe start in 4 years when cr7 leaves.

Ultimately I think Benzema is the better option if we are going to play one over the other because of his link up play, he brings more to the front line... But Higuain is a boss up front as well

but pipita is right. di maria has not earned his spot this year. and tbh was quite inconsistent last year anyways.. we dont need a di maria type player putting his head down and dribbling straight into defenders we have plenty of those types of players.
