Vucinic and Matri to be fit
Juventus are hopeful that Mirko Vucinic and Alessandro Matri will be available for Sunday’s game against Parma.
Both strikers have been struggling with ankle injuries, but they may be declared fit for this weekend’s Serie A opener.
Vucinic, a €15m summer signing from Roma, picked up his problem in the Montenegro international game against Wales.
Matri, meanwhile, suffered his fitness setback in last month’s Trofeo Berlusconi friendly against Milan.
Boss Antonio Conte has numerous attacking options at his disposal with Alessandro Del Piero, Luca Toni and Fabio Quagliarella also available to him.
Quagliarella hasn’t played in Serie A since he ruptured knee ligaments against Parma in their January 6 tie.
Vincenzo Iaquinta is injured though, while Amauri won’t be considered after he rejected a summer move away from the club.
