Kun was Valdano's joker

Few days ago, Valdano had an interview on a popular sports radio show called "El Larguero" (isnt that where he works now?), and he gave some explanation about what happened before he left.

But interestingly, when asked about Kun, he hinted that he was the key for all things.

Journalist asked him, "With you in Real, would they have signed Kun?"

and he answered, "I can not speak on issues of confidentiality of the office, but I say in other words: I love Kun"

We did shift our interest from Kun to Neymar during the summer, not because Atletico didnt want to negotiate, as ElConfidencial had sources leaking about Atletico opening the channel to us before Kun went to Atletico.

But if this is true, discarding Valdano put the Kun option on a side, as it's documented that Neymar is Perez fanboy choice, altho he likes Kun as well very much.
