Yeah... i'm with Z here. You have to be mentally very, very tough to play for Madrid and especially to play classicos. You have guys like CR7 that have a hard time with classicos. I wonder how Neymar is going to handle the team competition for playing time, the fact that he will not be the focal point and the pressure that comes with playing with Madrid.

Personally, i think it will take him a year or two to adapt. When we sign kids, we need to be patient...not something Madrid is known for.

It's going to take time sure, adapting to european football, getting his body to european standards, the pressure, finding his spot within the team, adapting to how fast we are playing, and how hard we are working to press and get the ball back.... it can be a shock

We took a risk with Ozil and it is probably the best move we made in years sure Ozil was already playing in Europe and a star in the world cup, but Neymar is arguably the most talented youngster in the world.

He won't really be under as much pressure because as usual most of the pressure would be on Ronaldo's shoulders and slowly Neymar will adapt.
Neymar knows how to play a team game so I don't think he would struggle tbh. He has a year to prove doubters wrong anyway.

That is very much true, but during his Santos days he looked like he could. Plus, everything else he offered made up for it, and his Marcelo bromance

What are you talking about man, HE WATCHED HIM AT THE COPA! He's qualified as much as any person who has watched both Neymar and Robinho regularly while they were playing with Santos.
