Yeah, it has to be because of the Flamini situation. I heard they were after Keita, but... yeah Laughing.

It doesn't fit the "Mr. X" hype because he's a defensive minded player instead of the flashy type Mr. X was supposed to be.

Montolivo was probably Mr.X but we just couldn't sign him in the end

But I reckon Milan were looking to sign Hamsik for a month or so.
It would have been much better to move for Montolivo at the beginning of the window and try and go for Hamsik afterwards
