I feel Kuyt is a brilliant cover . .but as i have mentioned a zillion time that we need some spark off the bench . .like you see all the big teams they have a third or forth striker who has the potential to come off the bench & change the game . .although Kuyt is 110% he lacks the creativitiy. .

Looking at
Chelsea there is Drogba/Torres, Anelka & Sturridge! ! :O

ManU there is Berbatov

ManCity i just cannot name all the striker they have . .the night would be over before i finish Razz

so i do feel a more solid replacement won't be a bad option . .but then again its not a dieing necessity . . Smile

This should be in the Attack Thread but I couldn't dig that up. So I'm putting it the closest thread.

Ok, here goes. Do you think we should recall Pacheco!!! If the Suarez ban is applied then we would be one player short (for what ever period).

True, Pacheco haven't performed the way he was expected to. But may be we should give him some games (starter & bench) to see if he really has it. If not we sell him in summer.

Some times it's the worst situations that brings the best out of you. Besides, our available options aren't setting the field on fire.

The main issue to consider doing this is whether the contract has a call back clause at all. I don't think Pacheco's did. Unless all loan deals include a call back option by default. Pacheco has always been a smart, creative player. At least that's what we've been told multiple times and what we've noticed from the few minutes he played for us and Norwich. However, none of the managers have ever given him a chance. That includes Rafa, Roy and Kenny. So there could be something they don't like about him. His time at Norwich though was interesting and if possible, I'd be willing to give him some time with us.

Neither Pacheco's nor Aquilani's (he will be mentioned soon enough, I'm sure) loan deals have call back clauses. Pacheco's especially, as he was loaned to Atletico who then loaned him to ANOTHER club. It seems very likely they have a buy-out clause for the end of the loan as well.

No worries, just messing with you a bit.

I think if 3 separate managers don't believe he's ready and he can't even break into a Rayo's starting XI (8 sub appearances in 16 games; no goals or assists) there's probably a problem with him. I can't and won't speculate on what that is, but there must be something.

Honestly guys i feel we have to accept that he is not good enough to stay in LFC . . . it has almost become obvious with all the loan spells & he not lighting the grass on fire in those spells or doing anything worth mentioning . . . I guess its a done deal the guy is not worth thought!

I say promote Ecceleston, Suso, Coady, STERLING! ! (btw Coady for CM) . . . then put Bellamy in the hole or Big Andy . . . .

Now its almost sad even Wigan have more striker then we do Razz
