Much better ball possession

I reserve my full judgement for later because we played Zaragossa but the interplay between Ozil and Coentrao was instrumental to our possession game yesterday.They moved the ball back and forth safely until an opening was present. It's also no coincidence that they were involved in most of the goals/ buildup.Ozil played deeper and was more of CAM than AM, Coentrao played more to the left from centre, Di Maria stayed deeper on the right to close gaps It explains why Di Maria sucked
Either Coentrao learns to stay more central or we play Khedira otherwise Di Maria will continue to suck

Varane is good ofcourse. But the most impressive signing was Coentrao. He has been a very successful card that mourinho plays.

Sahin will top them all once he is fit. Only him can bring our A game to the next level

The possession was fine, although the opponent had a lot to do with it. Only issue is with the midfield of Xabi-Coentrao-Di Maria, we only have Xabi who has the vision and passing to create passing angles for himself, see the play and execute the pass. Often, It's forcing Ozil to come very close to the midfield (play the CM), Benzema to play the AM/SS basically and CR7 to go to CF. CR7 doesn't defend much, so it's no real problem for him... but Benz and Ozil are killing themselves trying to cover all these responsibilities as they are both also tracking back like madmen and having to transition back and forth all the time.

Khedira and/or Sahin are crucial for us to really get our shape right.

I think you guys are looking to deeply into it.

Zaragoza got swept aside and while that may not seem like a big deal we did play a lot better than last year at this stage.

At this stage so long as nobody is playing like absolute crap I'll be happy. I'd rather we raise our game as the season progresses.

coentrao can only improve from here. he is adapting very quickly
