Pandev to Napoli a done deal
Goran Pandev has confirmed that he will be playing for Napoli in the new season after being sacrificed by Inter.
The Azzurri held talks with Inter officials this afternoon where it is understood that a loan transfer was agreed.
“I’m happy that I’ll have the chance to play in the Champions League for such a club as Napoli,” the wide attacker told Sky Sport Italia.
“I didn’t want to leave Inter, but this will be a new experience for me and the most important thing is that I’m happy.
“In fact, I’m extremely happy.”
The San Paolo outfit were paired with the international earlier this summer, but links then seemed to cool.
“The Pandev deal was wrapped up at 10 o’clock this morning,” noted Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.
“We did well to keep it hidden from everyone until we finally reached an agreement over the form of the transfer.”
Pandev, heavily linked with Genoa, will be presented to the San Paolo public tomorrow night when the Azzurri will play a friendly against Palermo.
The tie was arranged after Week 1 of the Serie A season was postponed due to strike action from the Players’ Association.

i donno if i should be excited about this coz eventhough we're getting rid of some dead wood im kinda concerned that our wide attacking options are thinning, and to be honest it seems like Inter's management are not concerned wether Gasparini's tactics work or not coz now with eto and pandev gone we simply have no more wide players that we can count on

I'm not happy TBH...I'll be if someone better fills in.It's a no fee loan,we still pay the wages...
Maybe we're just in Aurelio's ass for Lavezzi.

Doesn't matter, we are just gonna replace one shitty player for another, Palacio.

a no fee loan doesnt mean we're still paying the wages, it simply means we're not charging them for the loan. wages are another issue.
Or it better be coz if we're still paying 3 M a year for someone who plays for a direct compatitor then something is seriously wrong

Nah you've got it right zizzle...No loan fee means no charge...Napoli still has to pay the wages

Re: Pandev to Napoli a done deal
From what I read now,Napoli is paying 1.5 of his 3.5 wage...
So instead of:
1.Selling him and getting paid for it
2.Loaning him with someone else paying the wages and maybe even paying loan fee
3.Giving him to some club for free and getting rid of that contract
We are...
4.Loaning him and paying for it
Bravo Branca...

Re: Pandev to Napoli a done deal
Then we should have kept him, instead of trying to pay fee and wages to Palacio...Unless we sign two arguably better players than Pandev I'll be disappointed.

Palacio is faster and doesn't tackle himself while running.
Also, the 1,5 mil will probably be his salary.

Re: Pandev to Napoli a done deal
if i'm exaggerating or not i'm not 100% sure... but i think pandev is a pretty awful player who does nothing but hold us back. he has some skills, but his drawbacks like the energy an old woman and the strength/diving ability of a barca player mean he can almost never utilize his skills. he's better as a striker but we have better players for that
