He's nothing like Fabregas and never will be, they are totally different players......
It's like saying Xavi and Sneijder are similar players.

It is not like you got players of the calibre of Pires, Henry, Viera, Keown, Adams, Gilberto etc etc....

Wenger is more stubborn than a sunk shipwreck.free_cat wrote:I wonder how Arsenal missed on Sahin. Didn't they foresee the departures? It would have been a perfect Fabregas replacement for what people says (I've barely watched him).
Sahin was approached by REAL MADRID. Yeah, the price might have been in our range, but no way would we have matched salary/"prestige"/Cristiano's lapdances.
We also have Wilshere, who's (will be) superior.

Who the hell asks for 120 000 a week after basically giving us half a season of being top class.

i guese this is one of those times where you say good riddence!!!
he absolutely won us nothing. and faded when we needed him the most. league cup anyone?
as i said before, departure of Cesc and Nasri wont change anything with us. after all they won us nothing. lets be honest here, in 4 years to come, how are we gonna remember both of them?

I thought it was Arsenal's defence that cost them the league cup.

If he decided to show up for that game, that defensive blunder would not have been that important

uhmm, for someone who was crying for at least 40% increase in his salary, you kind of expect them to do something to deserve it. he wanted to be the highest earner in the team, meaning he thought he was our best player, so in that case, he should not be hiding against the likes of Birmingham

I remember Arsenal fans calling Ashley Cole, Cashley Cole....
How many of you think he made the right decision to join Chelsea?
