Wenger trolling again??

how wold when Ronaldo back then like 18-19....had arsenal bought him....there is no gurranete he would have been what he is atm.. and Man U had first choice to buy him

henry left in 07.....do you know how much finical shit we were in atm....no way could have afford 15-20mil for a player...it had only been 2 years since we had built emirate...Valenica paid 12mil for Villa and would have never gone under 20mil

and do you even know when Drogba joined Chelsea????in 04 when we had the likes Pires, Berkhamp, RVP, Henry still at the club...and we hadn't moved to new stadium....and 12m for Drogba,,,,Chelsea paid 24mil back in 04...

I think there are plenty of players Wenger could have gone for that he missed out IMO.

He refused to pay 4mil more for Alonso when we were dumb enough to sell him.

Could have easily signed Toululan before being snapped up by Malaga

Could have signed Samba in last january before he signed a new deal with Blackburn for real cheap.

There are plenty more signings he missed out on his stubbornness imo.But having said that i dont exactly know whether its the Arsenal financial situation or his stubbornness that is preventing Arsenal's progress.

you guys are not getting the point. The point is , wenger spots the talent, but he does not close deals that well ....and other clubs come right in and steal the deal right under our nose.

Combine this with Arsene's no player above 30 policy he had going a while back, and you can see why Arsenal will be fighting for a top 4 place this season.

For 10 millions euros Arsenal could have signed Lucho, who is a good , creative and experienced midfielder.

For 12 millions euros they could have signed Gameiro who would have been the perfect sub for RVP, better than Chamakh.

Arsenal obsession with young players and bargain are Wenger biggest weakness.

Of course it happened, half of Marseille team have had their houses robbed, sometimes when they are not in, sometimes when they are in.

Ganso, Hamsik, Schweinsteiger, Hazard, Pastore(before), Modirc, Sneijder etc maybe one of those i dunno, for these players he would need 30m, did arsenal ever made 30m transfer?
And its not just now, AW never did any big transfers, as i can see he always makes some semi-low transfers with players who have "potential" but that obviously aint working, why not try to splash some cash for once.

Why would Schweinsteiger and Sneijder want to downgrade themselves? They could also join a better club that actually wins titles.
