I'm sure he'd like to play regularly though.

Absolutely he would. But no doubt if he wants to stay he will have to accept the fact that it wont be for a starting 11 role.

Yeh definitely. With Canales rumoured to be going it kinda eases the pressure for him, that's if there was any. Smile

Funny I had a bit of foreshadowing the other day on FIFA 11: I put Canales up for loan and ended up securing a deal with Villareal. Laughing

"I had two very fruitful talks with the Brazil coach. One in October in Madrid and another by telephone in May. In the latter we conclude that it would be better not to go to the Copa America and take the time to recover. I want to return to the team, but first I have to play well in Madrid."

Hahaha, looks like he is feeling sorry for screwing us over in summer, but as much as he says this now, he cant change what happened in the World Cup, only himself to blame for a shit season. Im resigned to the fact that with Canales gone, Kaka will be a rotation player/supersub, which can be a good role if he gets back in shape, adopts a new atitude, and has some luck in regaining form. But he really must go and be replaced by Canales long term.

i dont think you can gather much information from that. It's a campaign they produced months ago, and he is our biggest adidas representative, it's only normal you see him featuring in ad campaigns. It doesnt really speak of his future at the club.

we wont try to sell him off unless a good offer comes in.

maybe not, or at least im curious how mourinho will manage all that.

If he is smart, he drops the whole Adebayor thing, completely useless if we keep kaka. play ronaldo more as a CF.

A good pre-season (his first since at Madrid) would really help him to settle into the new season.

I have high hopes for him next season, I see him as being an integral part of the team next season.

with the maybe answer, maybe he will play 4231 sahin alonso then without putting ronaldo at the CF and will still play the free rool midfielder

I think mourinho likes having a 3 man midfield, specially in CL. He did so very often with Inter.

It does stop you from playing attacking, specially if you have two bombing fullbacks, but MT is correct, i think the 433 is his fav formation
