i think madrid sign their players based on their physical appearance as well as their ability, it's good for commercial reasons. they have a pretty good looking squad (no homo). no wonder they've never shown any serious interest in tevez, rooney, drogba, suarez or messi and the almost done deal for ribery never happened. they're not pretty enough for the silly club.
