I love how people are overrating Man City as buying an insane amount of overpriced players does NOT improve your chances.

I realize that Bhends, but...

That was completely due to Arsenal and Chelsea's dismal failures near the end of the season.

While I don't believe that buying a bunch of people automatically makes you better....It definitely doesn't make you worse

I'd almost guarantee City a top 4 finish

Fair enough; But then again you have to count the competition from Liverpool, Chelsea with AVB, Arsenal and United.

I'd say Chelsea will be in competition with City at most as although they have AVB, Ancelotti is better and I don't see the team getting any younger unless they purchase more players.

We're not going to buy ready young players for 20m+ if that's what you are expecting. We're buying young players with potential and are developing them and as they mature they'll keep replacing those that need to be replaced (like Sturridge replacing Anelka on RW and McEachran replacing Lampard/Essien in midfield).

And if we had Ancelotti then we wouldn't have been able to implement our current policy.
