Re: Off-Topic Garden Café
It's so strange how many J-pop songs are half English, half Japanese.

Re: Off-Topic Garden Café
yeah most of the time it doesn't make sense lol i think its just to fill the void of lyrics hahahForza wrote:It's so strange how many J-pop songs are half English, half Japanese.
but in Utada Hikaru's case, her usage of english in Japanese songs make perfect sense. She is a New Yorker, she was born there, and raised in New York so she is fluent in english, and has collaborated with american artists too, or her songs in english proves the point.

My kingdom for a pizza without an inch thick layer of toppings! Gah!You eat a pizza ‘back home’ and get upset about how many toppings it’s laden with

Re: Off-Topic Garden Café
I even predicted a penalty in the last ten minutes if we were still down
FIGC
Have you thought of which cities you'd like to travel to? Also would this just be Italy or would you try and visit other parts of Europe as well?
If you're going in May you'll be just in time for our Champions League triumph :Iucas:

I've been to Milan, Tuscany and Florence a couple of years back. A friend proposed that we should go see Rome, so i said why not. Though, it ultimately depends on if he is required to take summer courses or not.
Other parts of Europe i've been to include: Munich, Brugge, Paris, London and Zurich. Though, i've never trekked from across Europe in one go

Re: Off-Topic Garden Café
Roma and Torino are definitely worth visiting. I haven't been through the rest of Europe unfortunately so can't really say much on the rest, though I'll be visiting Paris this trip and I'd love to get to Vienna one day as well.

Re: Off-Topic Garden Café
Paris is a beautiful city, you'll fall in love with atmosphere and mood of the city. You have to visit the Le Relais de l'Entrecôte restaurant, which is near the St. Germain area, one of the best restaurants i've dined in my life, and their world renowned steakdostoevsky wrote:Roma and Torino are definitely worth visiting. Torino worth a visit? :hmm:i'll might check it out, though i've heard much praise of Genoa. Will have to conduct research on this
Also, Parc des Princes is a beauty, i implore you to visit the stadium, if you can

Re: Off-Topic Garden Café
Torino's actually the most beautiful city in Italy in my personal opinion. Genoa meanwhile is definitely worth a visit though it's often ignored by tourists.
Major Paris objective: Track down the Zlatan.
Thanks for the recommendation, I'll try and check it out.

The lifespan of the gray squirrel is approximately six years. Most urban squirrels do not reach their first birthday. This is due not to predators but rather to automobiles.dostoevsky wrote:Torino's actually the most beautiful city in Italy in my personal opinion.
