Ok this has gone beyond the realm of our physios not being good to nature itself aligning herself against us. So many injuries this early in the season....damn it!

Re: Barca Training Reports " Updates"
I hope Villa is cool, but this is beginning to be one of those season where you feel the stars just won't align right... So many injuries already after that dodgy preseason. I hope we get through it.
Soriano said he'll be fit in 2 weeks. Until then, if Villa is actually injured just go with Adriano up front.

Villa injuried? Isn't Inestia mean't to be fully fit? If he is then put him up front and have Thiago in the midfield. Or like you said have Adriano at Left Wing and have Maxwell at Left Back (Apparently he is out for 10 days or something)

Re: Barca Training Reports " Updates"
Why the hell did we have to declare Iniesta fit just now?
Now he may play the Spain games. It would have been wiser to declare him fit after the Spain games.
Ridiculous. And now I hear that Abidal might be played despite being injured.

No, Iniesta didn't travel with Spain to Czech!!
He trained with Barca B players today..
As has been the case with the other training sessions this week, the four available players from the first team –Pinto, Maxwell, Fontàs and Iniesta- have exercised with Barça B.

IMO we shouldn't have let Puyol go either. He hasn't played for Barca yet, he shouldn't start playing with Spain.
Btw Khaled. I asked you a question in the Lounge about Barca B. Check it.

-Abidal-
Eric continues to fight off that groin injury he sustained while playing for France in the 2-0 win over Germany, currently in his own session apart from the main group. Also, it has been revealed that Eric will be going under a liver transplant in the coming weeks.
-Squad Returnees-
Alexis and Thiago resume training a 2 week absence due to injury
Sanchez pulled his groin in a league match with Sporting, while Thiago sustained a right tibia knock while in international duty.
It is not known whether they are fit enough to make the squad to face Sevilla
-Reserve Inclusions-
Marc Muniesa and Christian Tello have again taken part in the first team's training session.

Re: Barca Training Reports " Updates"
Guys I wanted to ask about ur thoughts on the training to peak thing again. We r now towards late March. I remember the thing with this is in Jan and early Feb? we train harder than usual in order for the players to stay fit and peak after the intensiveness of the trainings drops as more games come as we approach the run in?
It looks like its working out, Messi have been on fire in the last few games (add to that the suspension and rest). Although players like Xavi sseem to be struggling with injury or fitness? A few others have been problems as well.
Overall how effective has the train to peak thing worked out?
