Let's get this thread going........already have done all but signed 2 very promising players. Barton and Nolan could leave! and they need to replace the best striker in the world

Although the capture of players like Cabaye are the ones that we need, we need more of them. I saw today that we have made a bid for the Swansea centre back Taylor. I don't see why we are interested in signing Championship quality players when we are a Premiership team. We need players like Cabaye not Perch, Taylor and Best.

Welcome mate and i agree completely with your sentiments and btw he's a left back which i presume will be signed as back up to Enrique or who ever Enrique's replacement maybe.

Or knowing Mike Ashley we will sign Taylor for about £1m then sell Enrqiue for £8m use Taylor as the replacement and Ashley will pocket the £7m profit.

Ugh... Mike ASSley... Not a fan of the fat prick.
I didn't hear that Nolan could be leaving too... and the Barton thing is just stupid. Sure he's an ass off the pitch (and on it), but he's OUR ass.
Also, our new home kits are ugly as sin.

No kit can be worse than the yellow kit from our Championship season. The Nolan and Barton stories are quite annoying they are just more cases of footballers demanding contracts that they don't deserve.

It's called the Rooney theory, where a footballer thinks he is bigger than the club he is at and demands a ridiculous contract that he does not deserve. Hopefully we don't give in like Man United did. There are better players than Nolan that are on half his wages, if he wants to go let him go.

True, the all-black kits are rather classy. I've seen a rumor of an orange away kit, might pick that up instead of the home. After I get my hands on one of those Bayern home kits.aford92 wrote:No kit can be worse than the yellow kit from our Championship season. F'n hell, man! He rejects it because it is short?! frak... give him the five! He is one of our strongest scorers! I don't know whether to blame management or Pardew personally for this BS, but sometimes it just seems like they enjoy pissing the Toon Army off.Sepi wrote:Nolan rejecting a new contract

Nah, you the extra 10 million goes to porn for Mike Ashley. You only gots 15 million left from the sale of Carroll (because I said so, and guess where the rest of the money from Carroll's transfer went....)

Yeah definately agree with most of those positions, desperately need a winger and a striker no matter what. RB isn't desperately needed because Simpson is decent, i think a CB is needed more Campbell is gone so now we've only got Coloccini, S.Taylor and Williamson so i think we need to buy a partner for Coloccini. I am very pleased with Cabaye, as for the other 4 i would like Giovani dos Santos from Spurs, Kevin Gameiro from Lorient, Roger Johnson from Birmingham and Andrea Poli from relegated Sampdoria.

CB is one i never considered before, but your right one is probably needed and i like those names you said. The reason i said RB is because Simpson is young, inexperienced and makes mistakes quite often so id like an experience RB to bring him along he has potential but i feel an experienced option would be good.

Yeah, you're probably right we just need to be careful who it is, we don't want to do a Blackburn and sign someone like Salgado because he used to be one of the best in the world but now is just too old and can't compete at that high level anymore.

Nolan has rejected a new contract and Barton wont be offered one. Barton's replacement has already been take care of but Nolan is a worry i dont want our english spine to be completely ripped apart.

If he lowers his demands probably but there is noway to know at this moment. It seem's like he wants a 5 year contract and the club are not willing to go that far.
