Re: Newcastle United FC
My main reason for not wanting a 4-3-1-2 system is that we must have Ben Arfa and Marveaux in the same side. I'd go for a proper 4-3-3 and just put Marveaux in the middle.
Debuchy is one of our best players, but he and Santon will have to moderate their forays forward at times.

Re: Newcastle United FC
I do agree on Santon and Debuchy.
When you say Marveaux in the middle i trust you mean in a midfield 3 alongside Sissoko and Cabaye?
I like it but again we will have to keep the ball a lot better and control games better as none of them are dedicated defensive players.
Here's hoping Pardew actually tries something like that, because the 4-2-3-1 clearly doesn't work.

All Newcastle fans don't despair, we only lost one lousy point !!
Nobody expect Newcastle to beat super strong and super rich Man City esp away match, this means the best Newcastle can do is to get a draw and one miserable point. Since it's a loss, from this logic only one potential point is lost.
So it's no big deal.

Making threads should not be allowed until a poster reaches 500-1000 posts. Seriously this guy has 100 posts and all of them have been new topics.

Re: Newcastle United FC
Should of signed Rooney. He loves playing against City.
Maybe not 500 posts though, that seems a little high. Probably around 100-250 looks right.

Ok good idea I'll post my Newcastle threads here
Btw, my suggestion to Sir Pardew is to buy a cheap but good Asian striker first. I think Asian strikers are underrated

Re: Newcastle United FC
It may sound a bit daft after a 4 - 0 trashing, but I think already against Manc City you could see glimpses of the skill in the Newcastle team, but obviously it remains a question mark whether Pardew can get the best out of that talent. A big game already against West Ham coming up.

Re: Newcastle United FC
I don't think that a fixture against City at Etihad with 10 men for the most is the best way to judge them.
Last night I didn't really see anyone tracking back to defend from Newcastle unless they were in park the bus mode.Made the defence look awful.
In short,Think a DM and an attacking player who can play in lots of positions like AM,False 9 and as a Wide midfielder would be good signings in the next few days.I think with a bit of luck they could get in the Top 12 zone.

Tonight match without top player Cabaye, I'm afraid match might end in draw
