Not really, i feel as if they sympathise with our team, but they see no way that we can be a threat. Coz they dont have the beliefe that we have

Every year they have been waiting for our down fall so they can prove us wrong, but we still here and keep going.

Well, there are those that sympathize, those that want us to do better, those that think we can't do better and those that don't want us to do better.

The media are usually one of the latter two while other clubs' fans cover all of the options. Rivals and competitors aside, I think the majority of the fans want to see us do better and think that we're capable of doing better.

I guess it depends on friends and people you hang out with )) and the type of person you are

Maybe we're just boring to other people. We're like a better version of Wigan; always ending up in the same spot, not doing much to change that and going through the same thing every season.

The media want us to fail because it'd be a great story for them. One of the world's most stable clubs has now suddenly collapsed - it's a crisis! You only have to look at how the media have tried to portray us as some sort of crisis club earlier this summer, but that's suddenly died down after half the crap they said would happen didn't happen.

The fans are a bit more sympathetic to us. Every club has its fair share of rival supporters wanting you to fail - that's just how it is in football - but I do know a lot of people who want to see us do well.

Actually, I do think so:

There are only 4 CL spots for so many good teams. The rival London clubs obviously don't really wish us the best. Liverpool wants in, although they are humble these days.

The ManU rivalry has actually cooled down a lot though, and if you asked them who they'd prefer to win the league if it wasn't ManU, they'd probably say Arsenal.

Spurs are the same scum as always.

Because we are different.

That is the one of the main reasons some fans and the media dont like us. We should also realize that we are generalizing when it comes to the "media" and "rivals".

I have noticed that fans from many other clubs , even a few from Barca ( I have yet to see a Man u fan say otherwise and Spurs ... well ) want to see our club do well.

Alot of the media is pure bs desperate money making bandwagon hillbillies who think they know anything and everything.

Why? Because we are differnt.

Because we have a structure to help nurture young talent , a business model that doesnt look to over step the line and undying trust to its workings(staff , board, the janitor ) that is only seen at one other club.

People want to see us fail because they dont want us to show that a club can be great without having to throw money like we were at a strip club.

So far we have been proving them wrong , all we need now is a kick up our backsides to give the team the final push, and then see the media fap to us.

The fans who hate us on the other hand *shrugs*

But also,
Some of the criticism we have received has been fair and just. We cant act like the club is A-okay.. there are problems and tweaks that need to be adjusted.

Some are just pissed cos we refuse to spend but try to win. "U people and your coach are so annoying. Does he get a share of the money he refuses to spend? Wait till we get Fabregas n u will see how u gonna go down" -my barca pal

to be completely honest i dont mind aresnal, theyre good to watch, but ive got a huge laugh waiting for the end of this season when either rhey or city finish 5th

although i do feel sorry for you, the wenger would rather play himself then buy a player

I agree with Anjl..
Partly because we are different..
But in the big picture.. Many seems uninterested if we win or loose as we are ending up at the same spot for the last few seasons... They dont consider us now as a challenge..
Remember some b**t*d players mocking us by saying that they still see Chelsea as the challengers when we were 1 point behind the leaders and Chelsea were 10 points back..
And unfortunately it ended the same way...
And others are jealous of our system..
And in these days its really amazing in the sights of other clubs and the jealous media that we are still giving a fight with our system..
Only reason they say now is trophies.. You dont spend so you dont deserve to win..
I want us to get some fast and shut their mouth.. Then i am sure they will come with something else...

I even know some people which actually like Arsenal as a second club, and they juz pity us atm!
