Gomez is a great Goal Scorer though. The fact is he is the No.2 ST in the world behind Messi in this year & last year's CHL.

But his link up play & on the ball skills are rubbish & unfit for Bayern. That is where Mandzukic comes in. Atleast he can play football.

The commentator just explained it. The tradition in German football is that the cup winner gets to have home game in Super Cup vs. The league winner.....Since Borussia won both, the losing side was awarded the home game. I guess they think it would make it equal since the champions supposedly is better.
