the season hasn't even started, how can he be one of our best player so far?

He was injured all year and contributed nothing to our squad. by not signing him, we could have signed someone else at exactly the same price like VDV.

please don't get carried away after a few " above average" performance against shitty teams, Yossi is a midfield version of Kalou and nothing more.

VDV's initial price was like 17m and then on the final day it became 8m...do you think we would have waited that long for the price to go down?

1. No he wasn't priced at 17m, thats more then they paid for him. Sneijder was sold for 15m, and Madrid rated him higher. So no way was he going at 17m.

2. Benayoun is the same player as VDV, they both have played most of their carrer in the hole or as a winger. VDV has the same amount of experience as a CM as Benayoun if not more. He played a lot of CM in his Ajax days.

3. calling Benayoun a Kalou version of Midfield is not based on last season, its based on his whole career. Examine his career you will see he is average player.
