You don't need to ask me who I'm cheering for!!!!!

Sportsczy, I acknowledge that the U19 had more name players than the U20, but I still expect them to be better than the French!!!!

Canales is still not ready, they are hoping he is ready for 2nd game. Pacheco (the goalie) is the other from Madrid on the team.

We won the Euro U-19 last year and they're all U-20 now lol.

Doesn't Matter. Now is the Spanish era, your's was a decade ago!!!!!!

Well Sportczy, what do you think NOW.

We have just bagged 2 more euro championships this weekend and won the 1st of this tournament. I don't thus far feel too confident in this U20 tournament after watching first game, but they did in the end win convincingly and will likely get better as tournament goes on. Your french team however don't look like euro champions. However as I said earlier, this is the spanish era, yours was last decade. An now to make it even worse for you, you are going to have to battle it out with other 2nd place teams for a spot in next WC!!!!

Canales came from the bench score one and assisted another goal, I have no idea why the coach kept him on the bench, he had a very good match, man of the match in my books.

I'm a little worried. This Spain U20 do not seem to have the same skill level as the U19 and U21. They seem to have a diificult time fielding the ball and are not as smooth with their passes. The game changed completely tho once Canales came on. He is the leader and should have started. He showed just how great he can be. His vision is Xabi like. As someone said above, he was easily the man of the match.

Sportsczy, it looks to me like we could play France or England in next round!!

Thus far I think the teams to worry about are Nigeria, Brasil and Columbia.

Yes, I know, but he sat out the first game and was ready for this one. Coach didn't want to disrupt his winning line-up, but I think they were a little lucky in first game. As I said, the skill level is down a bit with this team and Canales makes a big difference.

By the way our Pacheco played a very good game in goal. Hopefully he gets the remaining starts as he was much better than Aitor.

I heard Canales had a great game and judging by the highlights he was the game changer. Great to hear, I hope he starts. If he does I'm gonna start watching! Very Happy

He definitely is starting from now on. Even this coach could not have missed the impact he had on game.

Thanks for mentioning this. I thought about doing it... but i didn't want to be thought of as a Spain-hater (which i'm not).
