Milan vs Arsenal

whos better?

I heard people say that they are equally good,what do you think?

The only place Arsenal are superior imo is Midfield and if Milan were to buy Montolivo and Ganso then that is no longer the case.

Not sure why people would consider them level, it just is'nt the case.

Arsenal would walk the League in Italy. So Arse by default.

Not being biased, but Arsenal is the better team.
If they played best of 3 Arsenal would win 2 out 3.

Milan got owned by Spurs.

Not that Milan are a bad team, and they were missing half their team due to player restrictions... but right now if Arsenal mantains it's players, it has a slight edge over Milan except in defense.

Milan didn't even win Spurs.

omarish, good point, but we re talking Milan SECOND HALF SEASON. Different story. Arsenal owns in mid, bu if we are to get 1-2 players, sit might change.

I'm comparing from at the moment. None knows how Milans midfield will look and if injurys/flops happens.
Also, Arsenal are a strong team, and IMO the strongest in PL this season, just not consistent enough. Everytime Arsenal has gone against a big team they have won/played good (Won the champions Man U 3-1 and 1-0 if I remember right)

Like I said, if they were consistent they would be winning big trophys. Sadly they are not, just shows how good team Arsenal are really

Milan is better then Arsenal atm. They are the italian champions. Compared to them we are close but not there.

Omarish, Arsenal with no injuries is still 2nd-3rd, not the best team out there. And thats being generous

If they played, I would put my money on Arsenal without too much thought.

Fair enough Milan have better individuals at the back and up front, but midfield is where the game will be won.

Arsenal will have the ball 60% of the time, so if they have a suspect back 4, they can defend by keeping the ball. While Milan might have a very good attack, they wont see the ball as much as they are used to.

And thats why we re getting these mids this summer

I don't understand the point of this nonsensical thread as EPL fans will make the ridiculous excuse on how Arsenal will destroy the serie A and Serie A fans will take cheap jabs at the gunners.

We only lost to them 1-0, not 3-1.

With every player fit, in a one off game, I would tip Arsenal to win.

have too much pace combined with skill and would tear their defense up.

oh really mister only has had half a good season in whole career to show that's world class/still hasnt proven anything besides a friendly/leaving for barca/another overrated english player/glassman would TEAR up possibly the best defense in europe atm?

be lucky if you even qualify for cl next season

What are you even saying? half a season proving hes world class? yes his stats went down in the second half of the season but the class in his performances were always there. Leaving for barca? LOLOLOL The media has been perdicting that for like 3 years now and yet our CAPTAIN seems to find a way to stay. overrated englishmen? Up until the second half of the season, who even rated him? Everyone was saying he was a flop and didnt have a brain, well we all saw what he did in the second half of the year. Glass man tearing up the best defences in Europe? Well where were you during the second half of the season because he was hands down the hottest strkier in europe. Buddy, think before you speak.

back on topic, I think it would come down to how well our centerbacks defend ibra. I think our full backs can handle robinho and song can handle cassano. Our midfield would dominate possesion, but milans counter attack is very lethal. Would be a tough game. I would say, it would come down to how well RVP, Cesc and our centerbacks would play. If cesc and Rvp can unlock milans defense, and our centerbacks peform well, I see us pulling through.

If it was the UCL final it would end in a tie and the penalties would go for ever for two reasons:

1) Ibra can't win a CL

and

2) Arsenal can't win a title.


But seriously it would be a good match with two very thechnical teams. I'd favor Milan since ATM they are a better squad and mental state.

Tottenham vs Milan would be a better comparison.
