Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Nasri didn't train yesterday so presumably he's got an injury.
There's a few first teamers missing, actually. On top of Fabregas and Nasri: Wilshere, Walcott and Diaby are all injured and, for some reason, there's no Koscielny, Gibbs, Eboue, Bendtner or Vela.
So we're going into the last game of our pre-season missing 10 first team payers. Not good.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Right, Wenger has explained the absentees:
Fabregas is "unfit" and not ready to play a game at the moment. Apparently he may miss the Newcaslte game, too, because of this. If he does, he may even miss the Champions League qualifier as well. Not good.
Nasri has a knock.
Koscielny has a small muscular problem.
Walcott is close to recovery but hasn't quite done so in time for this game.
Wilshere is still injured and Wenger said "it's difficult to set a concrete comeback time on his injury."
Diaby we know about.
Wenger has confirmed Bendtner and Eboue are both close to leaving.
Whispers in Spain are that Vela may be close to going on loan to Real Sociedad.
Afobe also injured.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Im still not relaxed. Cesc is still gonna be out for a few games. AW can't tell us exactly when Wilshere will be fit. Sounds familiar? (Verminator) And Diaby's injured. Wouldn't make much difference to us but i like the guy. On his day he is fantastic.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Xavi
We look forward to Cesc joining, and it seems that it is in the final stages now," the 31-year-old admitted. "We hope that the signing goes through as it is what we all want.
"It's a matter of agreement between Barca and Arsenal, but I am optimistic and I think Cesc will arrive at the club."
let's hope this is not true

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Xavi doesn't know any more than we do on this situation. He's just saying that things seem to coming to a head now, which is true. Note that he says "it's a matter of agreement between Barcelona and Arsenal", which suggests that an agreement has not been reached.

BBC Sources have said that he's on the verge of leaving. BBC are usually quite reliable for this stuff.
But we'll see what happens.

There is no legitimate source. News reports are reporting that Barcelona are after him again and people have started to lay down wreaths beside an open grave

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
I just blame Wenger 4his inability to manage the club like a Real BOSS...why to prolong this process and hiding the truth..i guess that Cesc has informed him at least !!! but Wenger has ignored him n fans also ! Nasri's situation is unrecognized & just ridiculous also !
@Cesc !You're decision 4leaving asn without winning a trophy is unaccountable lool, imo ! anyway ...Good Luck......

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Fabregas future decided ‘very quickly’
looks like he is as good as gone
Arsène Wenger expects the future of Cesc Fabregas to be decided “very quickly” now.
Media reports in the past 24 hours suggested that the destination of the Arsenal captain next season would be determined by the start of the Premier League this weekend – whether it be Emirates Stadium or Barcelona. On Thursday afternoon Arsenal Player got the latest from the manager.
“That is completely the truth,” he said. “We hope it will be sorted out very quickly one way or the other. We’ll know very quickly.”
Meanwhile the future of Samir Nasri is also under the microscope. Once again his manager wanted a speedy resolution.
“The Nasri situation is stable,” said Wenger. “Again it is very difficult to speak about possible transfers but we are in a situation where we have to make decisions one way or the other. Ideally you want it to be sorted out before the season starts.”

could be true! But I dont think our board will accept. I think they will view this as a negative move by the club.
