Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Sorry my Albanian friend i don't agree with you. When Cesc plays, even though he wants to return to his homeland one day, he gives it his all for us. He's not lazy, he tries everything he can to get the win for us. Perfect example is when we faced Barce for the first time 2 seasons ago. It was the club he wants to return to but he didn't hold back, and continued playing with a broken leg. He is 100% committed to us. Nasri on the other hand....boss wrote:2b honest ,we should let him go ! If he really want's to go..enough!!....@Raptorgunner...wowww your'e sig...what a STRONG message to !...

I really wish we had opted for Yaya Toure plus cash last year.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson believes Arsenal should sell Cesc Fabregas if he wants to leave.
After his own experiences with Cristiano Ronaldo, the United boss sees no point in keeping a player who wants to go.
Ferguson told the People: "You don’t want to keep them really. Ronaldo was never unhappy, but the thing about him was that he told me he always had a thing about playing for Real Madrid.
"We did well to have him for six years and getting that final year was a bonus because he was disheartened the previous summer, when he knew Real were in for him it was a big thing for him."

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Barcelona midfielder Xavi has issued another plea to Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas to make his move to the club this summer.
The 24-year-old has been constantly linked with a switch to the Primera Liga and UEFA Champions League holders over the past year, often being cited as the direct heir to Barca's inspirational playmaker, who is 31.
Xavi angered Gunners boss Arsene Wenger with his comments recently by stating that Fabregas was "suffering" due to being told to stay where he was.
Barca have yet to meet Arsenal's £40million asking price for the player and Wenger is keen to keep hold of his star player.
Xavi again emphasised the ability his international counterpart possesses, and made his point by claiming Fabregas was "a piece of the puzzle" and was ready to replace him as the focal point in midfield.
"I hope the saga ends," Xavi told German newspaper Suddeutschzeitung.
"Cesc is only 24 and his arrival would ensure the current cycle of Barca continues to work.
"I'm 31 and will retire in two, three or four years.
"I hope he comes."

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Xavi wants Cesc to join Barcelona.
It's just a wild guess, though.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Watching Sky Sports News this morning, there's an interview with Denílson. He says that he thinks Fabregas will stay.
Doesn't mean much, but hey, at least it's not all doom and gloom.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Fabregas is staying. Period. No way we are selling him to cheap broke f*cks who can't keep their wide traps shut. From being a team I loved to watch playing, they have become a team I have no respect what so ever for. I have a tough time deciding if I hate Manure more or Barcshit. You can imagine my predicament during the CL final. Maybe I hate Spuds more. Then again, Spuds aren't even worth it.
There. Done spewing my frustration. :/

Arsenal have not lost a single competetive match since 2003 in which Cesc fabregas has scored.

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
i think the thng z Barca dnt want cesc yet. they are playing around wth arsenal's mind and just want 2 mess around with cesc's head coz honestly, if they really want/need him 40m isnt a lot of money in barca's perspective. considering its jus a mere 6m from wat they are offering. this saga will go on and on until the day Xavi says somethng abt hs retirement thats wen they will sign.
dont u have that feeling that they dont want any1 else to bid 4 him and they are contend wth him at arsenal rather than he leaves 4 another club and get him frm ther

Re: the Cesc Fabregas Thread
Nasri didn't train yesterday so presumably he's got an injury.
There's a few first teamers missing, actually. On top of Fabregas and Nasri: Wilshere, Walcott and Diaby are all injured and, for some reason, there's no Koscielny, Gibbs, Eboue, Bendtner or Vela.
So we're going into the last game of our pre-season missing 10 first team payers. Not good.
