Expiring contracts

Here are the contract expiries for the aging players:

June, 2024- Lucas, Nacho, Modric, Kroos
June, 2025 - Carvajal
June, 2026 - Alaba, Rudiger, Courtois

I expect Modric and Kross to go plus Lucas. I suspect Nacho will be renewed if they don’t sign a CB. For The 2 aging midfielders, I think they are serving a very positive transition, but the kids are now ready. I’m hoping club signs a RW to challenge Carvajal and if not then likely a promotion for Vinicius Tobias and thus Lucas out.

By 2025, they need the heir to RW to let Carvajal retire.

Similiar they should get another CB or 2 by 2026 to replace at least one of the aging CBs.
courtois tenure will depend on how well he recovers from torn ACL.
