Who will win?
Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Morocco was the best team no doubt
Maybe we have zero chance after all and it was just Belgium being so sub-par from their expected level that gave us hope

Idk Croatia don't look all that good either. I can see an upset in the upcoming game too. Hope Canada can finish their chances this time.

If Canadas coach really had the balls to annonouce they will fk Croatia I dunno whats wrong with him
Where did the rivalry come from? Its obviously not healthy, n can backfire so easy n turn into Mou level embarrassment
Croatia equalised now n seems to be dominating lol...

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Havent watched Canada b4 now, but tactically look very naive... they push like half the team in the box, yet their middle is pretty weak n lose the ball often, so Croatia is countering for fun? Canadas defense is pretty static as well, wow...

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Much needed break
We dominated the first 35 minutes of this match, it's normal to allow scoring chances but i think we are one good keeper away from leading 1-0. Sub off this old croatian sabotage imo

Strange sight to see the CB from my local club in MLS get in a brawl with Modric
Disappointing result and we lack quality in defense but we had a few good moments to build on. For neutrals i suppose it was a fun match. Expectedly Herdman has motivated croatians, a better and more experienced side, with his trashtalking the other day

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Modric, Brozo and Perisic showed their class today as Canada had little to no answer for either of them. That being said, I wish Canada could have gotten more from either game as they were actually good but football can be cruel.
All in all, tough luck to the Canadian lads on GL, really tough luck.

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
DeBruyne has really stunk it up in the first 2 games. Awful World Cup from him so far.
Total farce he got MOTM for the first game, he himself admitted he was terrible and had no idea why he got it lol.
Very likely one of Belgium/Croatia getting eliminated in the groups unless Morocco shit the bed against Canada. Modric/DeBruyne playing for their legacies in the head to head. KDB losing here will just cement him as the underperforming loser when his team is not absolutely stacked and ball dominant I always suspected him to be.

De Bruyne has always been shit for Belgium. The Brazil 2018 match is the only great performance he has for Belgium. Belgium got dominated in the first half against Canada and the whole game against Morocco. Croatia really should outclass them like they did Canada today.

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Some terrible takes here. De Bruyne comes through for Belgium, and he was huge last euros as well. By a long distance their best player. Their golden generation came third in 2018 too, Belgium's best ever finish, but outsized expectations deem that as a failure somehow.
Martínez picks a bunch of finished players. Calls in Belgium for his resignation and to rejuvenate the team have been going on for a long time. Everyone expected a poor showing. Yet he is still there, and Eden Hazard still starts, together with Verthongen, Alderweireld and Witsel to make a team of 0 energy and the he subs in Mertens

They woke up and in the end they have too much quality and experience for Canada. Should beat Belgium and march on to the knockouts with confidence.

apparently the MOTMs are fan voted which explains Penaldo also getting one

Lukaku was by far Belgium's best player in the Euros. De Bruyne's most significant moment was getting dominated by Italy's midfield.

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Well it was not 100% negative, hopefully we scrape at least 1 point tomorrow vs Morocco
I hope to see Kone and Piette in midfield instead of Eustaquio who sucks and the corpse of Atiba Hutchinson, 45 years old, i drive semi trailers that turn around faster than him.
We are hosts next world cup and i think we have decent basics in attack with players already in the NT such as Davies, Buchanan, Larin, Jonathan David. But defense and midfield need a big revamp.

Re: World Cup 2022 - Group F
Belgium completely being dominated by Croatia as expected... I wanna ask aged but when u see Modric who seems to defy logic at the same time
But someone like Witsel who was great last WC is so slow nowadays its pretty sad to see, just as bad as Busquet n prolly worst... been like that for Dortmund
Same with most of Belgium though... anyway, big hit of reputation for Roberto Martinez I think, the team really regressed badly.
