Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Ronaldo single-handedly taking down the Glazers after sacrificing himself for the greater good of Manchester
Because he's the hero Manchester deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So everybody will hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not your hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A true Kommander.

Tifo basically saying Glazers never invested any of their own money into the club n have been negative treating it as pure business which of cos its ok for businessmen But is it accurate? Theyve managed to increase the revenue n continued to sign big name managers n players through the yrs n now trying to cash out b4 the economy turns to shit which a lot of ppl are saying could well happen soon? Thoughts?
What about Liverpool? Seems very different situations or not?

He's about to turn 31, and it seemed to me like a good portion of our RM supporting members agreed that he was going through a drop in consistency already 2 years ago. In the short term, it may look like a poor decision to sell him, but I imagine it will work in our favor in the longer term.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Kind of interesting that players near the end of their careers or in one case, asking too much money vs value, leave us for ManU and larger salary, while we reap larger transfer fee than we would otherwise collect. List is Casemiro, Varane and Di Maria (somehow I think, there are another couple of players). In any event, if man U fans are happy, then they are good deals all around.

Jorginho is such a wonderful player, damn shame he is not appreciated more by Chelsea fans.
Hopefully Potter plays more 4-3-3, Mount also benefits in that role rather playing in a forward role.
This was our best lineup with one exception not having Kovacic.

When it comes to transfer of selling players out, Madrid does a great job. Complete opposite to us. We overuse layers like rakitic and sell them almost free, while you sell casmerio while he is declining and has good demand. Club run by complete clowns

Pretty poor match from City, but Rodri was my man of the match. He doesn't seem to get a lot of credit, despite how tidy he is in midfield.

Thought mahrez was quite good. Should’ve had two assists and he’s really good under pressure in the midfield

My only issue with Mahrez is how incredibly inconsistent he seems to be for City. He's such an enjoyable player to watch when he's having a good day at work, but he's equally as frustrating to watch when he doesn't look like he's up for it.
At the start of the season, Pep alluded to something along the lines of him having lost his love for the game, which might be the explanation behind it. Compared to how he was a Leicester, he really seems to blow hot or cold for Man City.

Is it? You guys played well until CR came along. CR left and you're back to playing well. It's not really a mystery.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
we're a little fortunate that Rashford regained some form after like 2 years...because goals are still hard to come by, we desperately need a striker in January as a backup, Martial is shite. We're apparently broke though so will be interesting to see who we bring in. if Rashford reverts to being crap it's hard to see where the goals come from tbh. Antony looks kinda poor so far.
On the other hand we look very good defensively with Casemiro, Varane and Martinez/Shaw.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. CR has largely been on the bench since the start of the season.
