La liga minus Real Madrid equals EFL at best. No hate.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Arsenal sensational in the first 20 minutes, followed by being outplayed the last 25 minutes there. There is something of a team here, definitely have some progressions that are Man City esque, but with players who are pretty obviously worse and just can't do it quite as well. Some mistakes happening in buildup that they're lucky haven't cost them.
Gabriel Jesus has had some great runs but I lost count of how many times he lost the ball. You're going to lose the ball as an attacker, but I think he was dispossessed 5 or 6 times in that first half, and it could have been more if the tackle didn't go to another Arsenal player. I can see people being impressed by that first half from him, but I'm not seeing it unless he can take care of the ball better. His off the ball movement is galaxies better than Lacazette

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
They'll take the win but 2-0 with a pretty scrappy goal and an own goal, and Palace had some good chances they didn't take. All things considered, Arsenal walk a way a bit lucky.
Heard so much about their incredible preseason but after the first 20 minutes it looked like the same Arsenal to me. Failing to impose themselves, letting the other team back in it, 10 men behind the ball. After watching those first 20 mins I thought Artbeta was transforming into Arteta, a good football manager who has learned from Pep and finally had players up to the quality to imitate City's football.
The next 70 minutes I realized I was the true fraud all along for thinking such things. He still is Artbeta, and I didn't notice anything distinctly different about that performance than in previous seasons. It was the same "go up a goal and pray to the footballing gods that you manage to take home a win" stuff that wouldn't inspire me if I were an Arsenal fan. We'll see how the rest of the season goes, but I'm tired of giving Arteta second chances. Everytime I think this team is about to change, it's more of the same.

Re: 2022/2023 Premier League Discussion
Gonna say this as I love VvD but when he is faced with someone with timing and skill rather than pace and trickery of the ball itself he gets absolutely embarrassed. More and more nowadays as his arrogance costs him often.
Llorente skinning him with Napoli or other new players he hasn't faced are prime examples. Not happy with today.

Not sure what spurs bought Richarlison for, Kulu seems plenty good enough for that role

i don't think the club or the police would be that careless about the situation considering the recent Greenwood and Mendy cases... so because of this, i believe the allegations were deemed inconclusive/faulty

Kulu is a nailed on starter. He is absolutely brilliant. Richarlison is depth/rotation. Before Richarlison, the only depth Spurs had behind Kane/Son/Kulu is Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil, who never plays. Bergwijn left so there was a need in the area. Plus he can play the Kane backup/target #9 role, not just the wings.
