According to our and City tier 1 journalist our sporting director is already at ManCity and talks are going for his and Sterling potential transfer. I think these tweets are just indicating that we’ve already gotten Ferran approval and Ferran has told Pep of his desire which Pep is fine to let him go. I think the only thing left is the value and when we can sign him.

I would like Berando ahead of Sterling tbh but I think us and Atleti have shot ourselves in the foot. I can see BSilva going to you guys next summer sadly.

I dont know if they can pull off the Ferran transfer. Its much more viable though cause Sterling must be on insane wages. And either way, it's a failure of the board again. We should have intercepted him when he was still at Valencia if anything. Where is the scouting department that they only notice Ferran once he already moves out of Spain. They cant even be vigilant on the market in their own country

I'm not convinced Ferran is good enough tbh. Barca are now happy with City rejects? Then at least take one that was in the team for a few years in Sterling, not one that never made it in the first place.

If he wasn't a good finisher he would've been been sold already. He was a complete flop as a winger, but luckily him having some striker instincts saved his stint there.

I'm not kidding when I say he's never dribbled past a defender the times I've watched him. He was signed to be Sané's replacement as City's 1v1 touchline winger but he was a complete bust in that role. I'm sure Xavi is planning to play him as a winger too.

He's not fast, doesn't engage in individual dribbling duels, and he's often ghosting during the game.

Definitely never liked Ferran Torres for some reason, hes versatile n has his strengths, but hes definitely not a reliable consistent no.9/scorer that we need atm... feels a bit like Depay 2.0? He could play any of the front 3 roles I imagine, as well as false 9 that Pep likes to do I guess if Xavi tries that lol... would much prefer Sterling but I guess we just cant afford anyone...

It's insulting to compare Ferran with Eric Garcia. Ferran is levels above as a player, however, 55m is way too much obviously, for a bench player at City (even though City's bench is better than most starting elevens)
