WHICH TWO TEAM WILL PROGRESS ?
Re: Champions League 2021/22 | Group A
Always a delight to watch Pep lose
People really do think he's high and above but honestly he isn't and games like these keep proving it. I expect City to drop out in the Quarters the way theyre going.

can't wait for halfway into the season when they are still lacking for chemistry and Messi brings out the Pedro 2010-2012 highlight reel flash drives for him to study
He'll literally become a much better player if he watches that and takes notes while doing so. He's too busy watching CR comps instead ffs.

PSG would instantly become more competitive if they got rid of Messi

nah the best shot they have at winning the CL is if Messi gets back his standard fitness level and goes full dictator mode... Poch and everyone else in that club's hierarchy is too soft to handle primadonnas like Neymar and Mbapp

What was the last good decision Crapola made since he changed Yaya Toure for Busquets?

You're honestly right. He's the only one who can put them in line. Neymar plays like an idiot half the time and Mbappe needs humbling.
I don't think that will be the case though. He let Neymar keep #10 and it seems like Neymar's on penalties too. The dictator days might be past him.

I dont agree with that Busquets replacing Yaya was all good. Yaya was a beast Same goes with Eto'o, and the goes for Ibra, etc. Fact is no one is perfect. Pep has his strengths and weaknesses, so do his teams. Its no wonder why Messi alwasy score vs his teams, he gambles by pushing high and leaving so much space for Messi. Most other coaches wouldnt do that vs Messi.
The other flaw of his game style is that it usually just takes so much to score a goal, so many precise passes n movement have to be been made for a goal, while other team just counter and 1-2-3 bang they concede a goal. Its no wonder why Pep hasnt won a CL for so long. When margins of error are so small, his method for scoring goals is too difficult, n prolly the pressure leaves players to miss n make errors cos they have to be so damn perfect in everything.

Wow. What a game from messi. Pressing, passing, defense, attack, the goal. Just brilliant.
City need a 9. That’s all I have to say
PSG got their butt saved by messi and co. They need a better midfield. Veratti made a huge difference

the dumbest Pep mistake in recent memory surely has to be green lighting splashing 100mil on Grealish and not Kane

A flagpole would’ve done a better job then Sterling.. he has no qualities besides dribbling at pace and his athleticism..

Re: Champions League 2021/22 | Group A
Messi is a boss though. Made a couple of wrong choices. But he's just a football player who know how to play.
He rarely dribbles for the sake of dribbling. That's the biggest lesson he can teach Mbappe. Just because 8 out of 10 times you're going to beat your man dribbling doesn't mean you go for it every time.
Problem Mbappe has (and where he developed his bad habit in terms of dribbling) is that, in his first season, he'd pass it off and Neymar would dribble into oblivion half the time. He wasn't getting enough shots (only scored 13 league goals) and was pushed wide. So he decided that he's only going to get what he takes.
At Monaco, it was all about team. At PSG, you only eat what you take from others. A shame really. That's why I want him to leave. PSG is too much about individualities and the manager isn't allowed to implement discipline. The South Americans are allowed to run amock. Pime Madrid galactico days.
Maybe Messi sorts things out. He's the only one who can. But will he confront Neymar? That's where the ball often dies and the rhythm is broken.

How many players can you say give you no fear when they get a shot that's a half chance?
Sterling is top of my list. He's awful in front of goal unless it's a tap in. I'll never forget when the mf ran backwards on a 1v1.
Honestly I think PSG was lucky a bit. Bernardo scores that tap in and the entire game changes. Dollarumma made some good saves too. It'll be interesting to see how the return leg goes.

Yeah I think that was more of a higher up decision perhaps Pep could’ve been more vocal but it seems City didn’t want to spent the money on Kane as odd as it might seem. No coach is going to say no to spending City decided to spend a 100m on Jack but not Kane I bet Pep wanted a striker but Txiki probably talk him into trusting him or something.

The hitjob against Neymar in favour of france’s golden boy is hilarious. Sure thing buddy, it’s all Neymar’s fault. Mbappe just needs to get away from Neymar and he will never miscontrol the ball again

What Pep really needs is someone who actually is a goal scorer in the front line. The amount of chances produced by a team like City should be capitalized by someone who will actually put it away for the team. Pep seems to want another player who can create and score chances and so he's improvised players who are Midfielders and put them as goal scorers which I think is the actual flaw in his game. The man just seems to underappreciate a true number 9...
Yeah, Kane would no doubt have been a prime choice as he does exhibit goal scoring prowess as well as the ability to create chances. Him and someone like Benzema or Messi is the sort of player he wants for his team but I don't see what's wrong with having Lewandowski or Ronaldo finish those chances either.
So unless Gabriel Jesus starts filling those big shoes, Pep gonna have to look for that #9 who can finish the job for him methinks, but hey if he doesn't that's still just fine by me. I'll have fun watching him squirm every time his players leave chances begging.

Sports get outta here. No south American team is as full of egos, drama and selfishness as the French one

Does anyone have stats on which managers Messi has scored the most against? I'm by no means suggesting that Pep's intentionally bending over for Messi, before anyone suggests that, but it feels like he has a good day on the job every time he plays against Pep in the CL.

He wasn’t that great but that shot was a rocket, nevertheless Wenger I believe he scored the most against like 9 goals maybe some La Liga team who had a manager for a long time. All tho his goal return against Pep is 7 goals in 5 games the most Pep has conceded against an individual player. All tho I think Son isn’t far behind either but he’s had more games.
